Sempa Pompa Makina A.Ş. was founded by Seyit Mehmet Ferahkaya and Recep Ferahkaya, visionaries who recognized the potential for industrial growth and production in Turkey at an early stage. Born in Konya, our founders began their careers by gaining experience in manufacturing and engineering, which led them to enter the industrial sector. Their expertise in machining and technical knowledge encouraged them to make a difference in the field of industrial pump manufacturing.

In 1972, they established Sempa Pompa Makina A.Ş. to meet the growing demand for industrial pumps in Turkey and to create a brand that would set industry standards. In the early years, they operated with a vision of becoming a company that defined quality and reliability in the sector, aiming to make a difference through engineering solutions.

Seyit Mehmet Ferahkaya and Recep Ferahkaya believed that long-term success in business could only be achieved through continuous development and investment in technology. In line with this vision, they integrated the production processes by founding Sempa Motor ve Redüktör A.Ş. in 1975 and Sempa Metalürji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. in 1994. This allowed not only the production of pumps but also the manufacturing of essential components such as casting and motors within the company, creating an independent and robust supply chain in the sector.

Our founders have transformed Sempa Pompa Makina A.Ş. into one of Turkey’s and the world’s leading centrifugal pump manufacturers, not only through their engineering expertise but also through their strategic foresight and innovative management approach.
